Best Answer: The G1 is pretty old school and dosen't support sdhc micro sd cards that I know of. So any sd card over 2gb will not be reconized. The Cliq dose Support sdhc micro sd cards up to 32gb. Hope this helps. You might look and see if there is a custom rom that will support it for the G1.
